Hausman
Ezra Hausman, a Senior Associate with Synapse Energy Economics, has been involved
in design and analysis of electricity markets since 1998. His focus includes
market design and market restructuring, and pricing of energy, capacity, transmission,
losses and other electricity-related services. Dr. Hausman serves as an analyst
and expert witness in several areas, including:

Economic analysis of environmental and other regulations,
including CO2 regulations, in electricity markets |

Quantification of the economic and environmental

The role of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) imports in
the U.S. natural gas and electricity markets. |
Dr. Hausman holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wesleyan University, a Masters
degree in Civil Engineering from Tufts University, a Masters degree in Applied
Physics from Harvard University, and a Doctorate in Earth and Planetary Sciences
from Harvard University.
