Jennifer Kallay


Ms. Kallay is a Research Associate at Synapse Energy Economics where she conducts economic, environmental, and policy analyses of energy resources and carbon emissions. Prior to joining Synapse, Ms. Kallay was a graduate student in Boston University's Energy and Environmental Analysis program, where she focused on energy and environmental resources and policy, climate change, environmental economics, statistics, risk assessment and geographic information systems. She worked as a research assistant while completing her degree, assembling a database of spatial, economic, climatic, and physical characteristics of land use change in the Amazon and using regression and GIS techniques to analyze this data. She received her MA from this program in January 2007.

Before pursuing her graduate degree, Ms. Kallay worked for six years at Digitas, Inc. where she developed and conducted quantitative analyses of marketing program performance to guide strategy. Ms. Kallay holds a BA in Journalism from the University of Maryland.
