> Patrick Knight Patrick Knight Patrick Knight is a research associate at Synapse. He performs consulting, conducts research, and assists in writing testimony and reports on a wide range of issues, including: the costs of environmental controls and compliance, coal-fired power plant retirements, forward capacity markets, costs and benefits of energy efficiency programs and measures, water and energy interactions, air emissions of electricity generation, consumer advocacy, and technology strategy within the energy industry. Mr. Knight was a coauthor of Synapse's November 2011 report for the Civil Society Institute, Toward a Sustainable Future for the U.S. Power Sector: Beyond Business as Usual 2011. Prior to joining Synapse, Mr. Knight worked for New Ecology, Inc., where he helped develop a utility tracking and management software program. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Geophysics from Boston College, with minors in mathematics and philosophy, and a Master of Urban and Environmental Planning and Policy from Tufts University. |
