Erin Ash

Erin Ash acts as Operations Manager at Synapse. She oversees the project lifecycle process including contract administration, project set-up and maintenance, resource allocation, project health reporting and forecasting, project closure and client follow-up, and time and expense system management.

Prior to joining Synapse, Ms. Ash ran the day-to-day operations of a small, growing healthcare company. As the Accounts Manager, she managed budgets, created marketing plans, and generated financial reports in addition to hiring, training, and managing a rapidly growing team. Her other experience includes water quality monitoring and creating visual displays of Boston Harbor beaches using GIS software for the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA). In addition, Ms. Ash managed an addiction medicine fellowship and national training program for young physicians at Boston Medical Center, wrote grants and budget justifications at Boston University in collaboration with Boston Medical Center, and taught environmental science and sustainability to Boy and Girl Scouts at Cranbrook Institute of Science.

Ms. Ash earned her Master of Public Health in Environmental Health from Boston University and her BS in Environmental Science and Management from Lyman Briggs College at Michigan State University.
