Testimony Regarding the Need for a Smart Grid Coordinator

Maine Office of the Public Advocate
Project completed in 2010.

The Maine Office of Public Advocate retained Synapse to help them evaluate whether it would be in the public interest for Maine to establish a Smart Grid Coordinator pursuant to the Maine Smart Grid Policy Act. The joint testimony filed by Synapse and Martin Roth Cohen and Associates in that proceeding concluded that the concept of establishing a Smart Grid Coordinator for a sub-set of smart grid functions was sufficiently in the public interest to justify moving to Phase II of the proceeding.
