Best Practices Guide for Benefit-Cost Analysis of Managed EV Charging

Synapse worked with Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) to prepare to develop a guide for conducting benefit-cost analysis (BCA) for utility EV managed charging programs. Synapse reviewed regulatory filings and BCAs submitted to regulators in program applications, tariff filings, and transportation electrification plans to inform the development of the guide. The guide serves as a technical resource for state regulators in formulating utility guidance for managed charging program filings and reviewing utility filings.
