Demand Side Management in Nova Scotia

For over a decade, Synapse has provided counsel to the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board (NS UARB) with technical consulting services on demand side management (DSM) issues. In 2021 and 2022, Synapse participated in the stakeholder process preceding the 2023-2025 DSM Plan filing; in this capacity, we provided comments on cost-effectiveness, fuel-switching, carbon reduction goals and pathways, demand response, and targets for low-income programs. Synapse also submitted comments on the historical rate and bill impact analysis and testimony on the filed 2023-2025 DSM Plan.
