On behalf of the Connecticut Office of Consumer Counsel, Senior Vice President Asa Hopkins and Principal Associate Sol deLeon provided expert witness services in the rate case of Yankee Gas d/b/a Eversource. Drs. Hopkins and deLeon submitted direct and surrebuttal testimony discussing the implications of energy system transition and decarbonization policies on gas utilities, including a review of non-pipeline alternatives, capital planning, and depreciation practices.
