Synapse worked to assist Montana Public Service Commission with monitoring and regulatory oversight of NorthWestern Energy's preparation of a long-term electricity supply resource procurement plan. Synapse provided emphasis on resource adequacy assessments, determination of capacity needs, evaluation of resource options, and resource portfolio modeling to ensure compliance with Commission rules and directives. Synapse used PowerSimm modeling to complete this work. Project completed 2020.
