Synapse developed a fact sheet for Sierra Club regarding the role of hydrogen and low-carbon gases in the future of the electric system in New York. The fact sheet is grounded in an analysis conducted by Energy and Environmental Economics, Inc., for the development of the New York Climate Action Council's Draft Scoping Plan, which shows different pathways to achieve New York's ambitious climate change mitigation and energy justice objectives. The factsheet is also informed by Synapse's experience modeling multi-sector approaches to deep decarbonization.
