Maryland Energy Storage Program Design

The Maryland Public Service Commission (PSC) convened a working group to develop a consensus proposal for an energy storage program, as required by § 7-216.1 of the Maryland Public Utilities Article.

The Maryland Office of People’s Counsel (OPC) engaged Synapse to provide technical support throughout the working group process. Synapse participated in meetings, reviewed technical materials, and submitted written comments to help shape the proposed program.

The working group submitted its Phase 1 Final Report on October 1, 2024.
