New York State Greenhouse Gas Inventory

Partnering with ERG, Synapse produced estimates of greenhouse gas emissions associated with electricity imports into New York State. This work included analysis of hourly and annual net import data from 1990 to present day, and compilation of biogenic and non-biogenic emission factors for carbon dioxide, methane, and other greenhouse gases.
