Synapse assisted the Eastern Research Group and the Department of the Interior: Minerals Management Service in identifying and analyzing issues related to the integration of offshore renewable resources into the electrical grid. As part of the work, Synapse provided MMS with background information crucial to managing these new resources. The overall project also identified existing and future infrastructure needs required to develop offshore renewable resources responsibly. Project completed in November 2011.
